Our founders.
Three veteran games-industry technology leaders, combining technical depth, organisational leadership, product delivery and company building across PC, console and mobile development, game engines, backend infrastructure, process and hiring.
Todd Gibbs
Co-FounderTodd is a CTO-level games and product leader with more than 30 years' experience creating games, building studios and leading development teams. His particular strengths lie in gameplay, product development and turning creative ambition into games that teams can successfully build and players want to play.
He co-founded Razorworks with Dave Proctor and ran the development studio for ten years, taking the business through to its £1 million acquisition by Empire Interactive. Todd and Dave subsequently created NaturalMotion's games team, building it from the ground up and helping grow the wider company to approximately 350 people before its successful $527 million sale to Zynga. The games operation produced a string of App Store-leading titles, including CSR Racing, CSR2, Clumsy Ninja, My Horse, Dawn of Titans, Jenga and Backbreaker.
Todd later helped establish the simulation team at what was then the UK's largest autonomous-driving company, applying games-development techniques to complex real-time simulation.
Most recently, he led game development at Outright Games, overseeing its internal development team and relationships with external studios. His work included product and gameplay oversight, development leadership and more than 70 technical and production assessments of external developers.

David Hunt
Co-FounderDavid is a CTO-level games technology leader and hands-on engineer with more than 30 years' experience spanning game engines, console and mobile development, backend infrastructure and technical leadership. He has worked at every level of games engineering, from assembly-level graphics programming and writing proprietary 3D engines to Unity, Unreal and large-scale online services.
David co-founded Lightning Fish, where he served as CTO and helped grow the studio to approximately 100 people. The company specialised in cross-console exercise and motion-controlled games during the Kinect, PlayStation Move and Wii era. David led its work in real-time camera-based motion tracking, collaborating with Oxford University's Active Vision Laboratory, and later developed a hand-pose classifier that secured a substantial technology contract with Intel.
He subsequently held senior technical roles at NaturalMotion, Zynga and Take-Two, most recently serving as Director of Engineering and the project's most senior engineering leader on a major cross-platform title. His responsibilities encompassed internal and external development teams.
David combines executive-level leadership with unusually broad technical depth. He has extensive expertise in Unity, Unreal, optimisation, asset pipelines, native cross-platform plugins, backend integration, rendering, simulation and development tooling. Most recently, through his consultancy Unit of A Human, he has returned to hands-on engineering and has ported four Outright Games console titles to mobile, undertaking extensive optimisation, asset reduction and UI redevelopment. He maintains a keen interest in ML/AI, LLMs/diffusion models, and spends time diving deep into transformer architectures and working with AI coding models.
